AC/CESS

AC/CESS provides vocational evaluations for students to assess career interests, aptitudes, achievement levels, learning styles, skills, and work behaviors. The evaluations are generally three days in length and students are provided with career exploration through a hands-on experience. Students may explore a variety of careers including:

Cashier/Checker
Child Care Aide
Computer Operator
Cooking and Baking

Custodial/Housekeeping
Data Entry

Graphic Arts
Health Occupations
Heavy Equipment
Horticulture
Interior Design
Masonry
Office Services
Paralegal Assistant
Plumbing
Shipping & Receiving
Small Products Assembly
Teacher
Tune-Up Mechanic
Veterinarian Assistant
Web Page Designer
Welding
Word Processing


A report is then generated and recommendations are made for remedial services, accommodations, placement into career education programs, and any other related support service that may be needed. This information is useful in developing the students IEP, ITP, and IVP.
